Service Description
The Shabbat Show: A Jewish Theatrical Adventure The Shabbat Show, Stage 2 is the next stage of our children’s musical theater experience for children ages 8-10 who meet weekly to expand their Jewish learning and perform scenes and sketches they co-create based on Jewish stories. With guidance from professional artists and educators, the troupe will explore Jewish traditions that have been passed through the generations and experiment with theatrical improv to create original scenes and sketches, along with adapting lyrics to pop songs and show tunes – often with a very comedic effect! The learning experience culminates in a ‘World Premiere’ performance and celebration at Wine Down Shabbat, where the troupe shares its show with family and community.
