Service Description
The Shabbat Show: A Jewish Theatrical Adventure The Shabbat Show is a children’s musical theater experience where a group of 10-12 children ages 5-7 meet weekly to learn together and co-create plays based on Jewish stories. With guidance from professional artists and educators, the troupe will explore Jewish traditions that have been passed through the generations and experiment with theatrical improv to create original scenes and sketches, along with adapting lyrics to pop songs and show tunes – often with a very comedic effect! The learning experience culminates in a ‘World Premiere’ performance and celebration at Wine Down Shabbat, where the troupe shares its show with family and community.
