About the Event
This year Embrace's Rosh Hashanah program will take place outdoors at JCC Harlem (318 W. 118th Street) & in Morningside Park.
Join Embrace in JCC Harlem’s outdoor lot for a very sweet Rosh Hashanah Wine Down, in partnership with JCC Harlem. We'll meet at the pond in Morningside Park for a family-friendly tashlich experience, where we will consider how we might do better in the coming year – symbolically casting our mistakes away by tossing little bits of bread (or in our case pebbles and bits of leaves or flower petals) into the water.
We’ll then head to the JCC Harlem lot, for a sweet holiday meal; Rosh Hashanah-inspired music; kids arts activities; a group shofar blow; and wine (always wine, for parents of course). Ideal for families with kids up to age 12.
